Who says fish are boring pets?

Just the other day, Ty discovered that the fish in our tank are not only fun to watch, but fun to share toys with too.

Didn't you know that Guppies like Hot Wheels just as much as the next guy?

And just for good measure you should always throw in a pencil and one of your sister's ribbon pony tail holders.

No one can accuse us of pet neglect, that's for sure!

I keep trying to convince my kids that fish are better than puppies because they don't chew on your toys.

I think Ty just helped me prove my case.

I Wonder Wednesdays

I was inspired by my dear friend over at "and then some more." And I've decided to try my hand at a "weekly edition" sort of posting.

Stifle that snickering.

If you'll notice, I put "weekly edition" in quotes. Those quotes give me a little leeway. We all know that I probably won't post every single stinkin' Wednesday. But it's good to set goal every now and then.

It is my year to be deliberate after all.

So without further ado, I present to you the first (and hopefully not last) installment of
I Wonder Wednesday

  • I wonder why I can't remember all the good "I wonder" quotes I came up with earlier today.
  • I wonder when our house in Indianapolis will finally sell.
  • I wonder why I haven't felt like a very good Mom lately.
  • I wonder if I'll ever develop a taste for bananas.
  • I wonder what my kids dream about when they're sleeping.
  • I wonder why my 5 year old can't seem to get a handle on his emotions.
  • I wonder why WalMart has 25 lanes if they're only going to open 4 of them.
  • I wonder how many Easter eggs the lawnmower man will run over in our yard.
  • I wonder if ya'll know that the only reason we have a lawnmower man is because we rent our house and lawn care is in the lease. It's spoiling us, really.
  • I wonder why I can't get in bed before 11:15. I try, but I can't.
  • I wonder when I'll have the time to finish training for the half-marathon. Maybe I should change that "when" to an "if."
  • I wonder if I should go have a snack now.
